Preventing swirl scratches is one of the biggest challenges with today's delicate clearcoat finishes. Grit Guard® helps to prevent the formation of swirl scratches during vehicle washing, which can be caused by sand and small dirt particles in the wash water. Each time you pick up wash lotion, you wipe your wash mitt on the Grit Guard® bucket insert, this removes the dirt particles from the wash mitt and they sink to the bottom of the bucket. The specially shaped lamellae of the Grit Guard® prevent the dirt particles from swirling up and being picked up again.
