Cars collect large amounts of tar, asphalt contaminants, resins and other organic compounds such as insect residue during daily use. Q²M Tar offers an easy way to speed up the otherwise tedious cleaning process by plasticine, because especially with soft uni paints or medium-hard Japanese paints, even a mild plasticine often causes light scratches. Most contaminants can be easily dissolved and rinsed off in combination with Q²M Tar and Q²M Iron, without leaving any haze or scratches that would otherwise have to be polished out first. At the same time, Q²M Tar does not attack the durability or water-repellent properties of an existing ceramic coating. Q²M Tar also does not attack the various body surfaces like most other tar removers. It can be used on paint, glass or plastic trim, whether painted or unpainted. Because of its pH neutrality, it can even be used to remove tar stains from bright polished metal. Q²M Tar can also be used in conjunction with the chemical resistant Q²M Clay. It allows sufficient slip when kneaded, which speeds up the overall preparation of heavily contaminated vehicles during thorough paint care.
